Graduate Application Information
Fall Semester and Summer Session: The application deadline for the M.Arch. II/III, Academic M.A. and Ph.D. programs is January 15.
Professional Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree for students with a bachelors degree in any field, including architecture. Our program has two graduate tracks: Track II is a 2+ year program for students entering with a pre-professional baccalaureate degree in architecture (“4+2” model); Track III is a 3+ year program for those with a baccalaureate degree outside of architecture (students with a 4-year pre-professional degree in architecture may seek advanced placement).
Master of Arts (M.A.) in Architecture degree (non-professional) a 36-credit academic/research track for students with an undergraduate degree in architecture or a related discipline.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Architecture degree, which is a 49 credit terminal degree involving rigorous coursework, independent research, culminating in a dissertation.
Master of Architecture / Master of Urban Planning joint degree.
Graduate Certificates in Historic Preservation, Design-Build, Public Interest Design, Architectural Acoustics, and the Architecture of Health & Wellness all require 12 credit hours.
